FileMaker Experience:

Bio:
Michele believes joy, celebration, and creativity are essential to living well and doing well.

With more than 25 years of experience as an intuitive and creative life coach, Michele helps people navigate life's challenges with clarity and confidence. Her work bridges practical life skills and deeper self-awareness — helping clients sharpen their decision-making, strengthen their relationships, and find their voice, especially during periods of rapid change and uncertainty. She also teaches how to recognize meaningful signals in the environment and use them as real-time guidance.

Michele brings art, music, and movement into her practice because she knows that the most powerful breakthroughs often happen beyond words — through playfulness. She has studied both African and Brazilian drumming, taught classes on improvisation, and knows firsthand how finding your rhythm — on a drum or in life — changes everything.

At Full Access, Michele is facilitating two Innovation Labs designed for playfulness, creativity, and with an element of surprise.

She's attending alongside her husband, Ivan Granger, a FileMaker developer who is presenting on AI. Together, they are proof that when technical precision meets creative intuition, something remarkable happens.

“How to unlock creativity:
slow down,
study another field,
get into nature,
get out of office,
music (lots),
sketch,
cardio before/after,
nibble on small ideas,
throw stuff away,
atomize the work,
look for orthogonal inspiration,*
breathe,
learn about circadian rhythm,
paint.”
~ Brian Norgard

-

*Orthogonal inspiration involves looking outside a field for fresh ideas, taking a "perpendicular" or unconventional angle to spur innovation.

Velcro (Nature Engineering): Swiss engineer George de Mestral was inspired to invent Velcro after examining burrs (seeds) that stuck to his dog’s fur after a hike. He looked at a biological nuisance and applied the mechanism to textiles.

Bullet Train & Kingfisher (Biology & Aero-engineering): Engineers designing the Japanese Shinkansen bullet train struggled with air pressure changes causing noise when exiting tunnels. The designer, an avid birdwatcher, based the new nose design on the beak of a kingfisher, which enters water with minimal splash.
