Bio:
I began hosting FileMaker Servers in 2003 as a small side project for a handful of local clients. Over the years, that work steadily evolved into overseeing infrastructure spanning more than 50 data centers worldwide. With more than two decades of hands-on experience, I’ve worked through just about every type of infrastructure challenge imaginable, including a literal server rack collapse that sent machines crashing onto the floor. Along the way, I developed a reputation for combining deep technical knowledge with calm, practical problem-solving.
My background spans infrastructure operations, DevOps, automation, disaster recovery, and modernization of legacy systems. I enjoy solving complex technical problems, improving resiliency, and building systems designed to scale and adapt over time. Much of my work focuses on bridging the gap between emerging technologies and real-world operational needs.
Based in New York, I share my home with seven rescue cats, all of whom seem convinced they are active participants in conference calls and infrastructure planning. Outside of technology, I enjoy gardening, ghost stories, Medieval history, badminton, and occasionally returning to my roots as a trained circus arts performer. After years of balancing infrastructure, deployments, and unexpected outages, juggling objects around the house still feels oddly relaxing.
